Main activities and responsibilities: Performing the most complex tasks that require special independence and expertise in terms of investment activities in the field of mineral resources - Initiates and proposes views on general issues in the field of mineral resources - Actively cooperate with other ministries and other institutions, agencies, and organizations in the country and abroad - Participates in the activities related to potential investment projects in the field of mineral resources Chairman of the Commission for granting concessions for detailed geological investigations and exploitations- established by the Government of RNM. Chairman of the commission for taking the exam for License for geological documentation. Chairman of the commission for verification of questions for taking the exam license. Chairman of the Commission for evaluation of employees in the Ministry of Economy.

The mineral resources in the Republic of North Macedonia are regulated in accordance with the Mineral Resources Law. The procedure for awarding concessions for prospective geological research, detailed geological research, and exploitations of mineral resources is conducted by the state administration organ responsible for performing the work in the area of mineral resources.
