Country Director
Department for International Trade
Tim Buisseret is the Bulgaria Country Director for the Department for International Trade, based at the British Embassy in Sofia, and leads on DIT's energy + mining campaign in the CEE/SEE region. He has lived in Bulgaria for twenty years; before joining the Embassy he worked in the telecoms sector, including several years as General Manager of Mobikom, Bulgaria's first mobile phone company. He understands well the opportunities and challenges of doing business in the region, and is excited about the trade and investment prospects for UK business.
